Here we have a pair of vintage, wooden work saw horses / trestles with the most fantastically worn surfaces. 

 

They probably date to around the 1940s, I think they're made from a hardwood (though I couldn't tell you which) with plywood on the ends.

 

They've both encountered a huge amount of use over the decades, with the tops of each covered in saw marks and the edges all gently rounded off. They've developed a lovely, deep colour and have endless amounts of character. 

 

Both remain pretty sturdy and would be an ideal candidate for a large sheet of glass to form a coffee table...

 

Each one stands 58cm high x 92cm long x 42cm deep.
