This antique, wooden pull-along children's horse toy is fairly competently formed and painted and absolutely oozes with character. 

 

The piece probably dates to the turn of the century and certainly evidences years of love and use; his painted surface is worn and grubby, his ears and tail long lost to time and three out of four of his wheels have undergone replacement. He retains his original leather reins and stands proud and sturdy. A lovely, decorative piece of history. 

 

He measures 58cm in length x 36cm wide x 51cm high.
