A General Anatomy medical chart designed for the St. John's Ambulance Association by J. Teck c.1940s.

 

Wonderfully striking, graphic pieces - these anatomical charts are printed on canvas with a glossy surface coating. Designed to be rolled up and stored away, this example has kept it's punchy colours. The coating has yellowed, there are some creases from the rolling and un-rolling and the hanging string has been re-knotted more times than I can be bothered to count but this all adds to it's charms without affecting it's visual impact. 

 

A real statement piece that's incredibly easy to display, this chart measures 1.6m high x 74cm wide.
